Security
This page describes, plainly, how the site and the service handle security. The privacy notice covers what we collect; the data protection page covers how personal information is looked after.
How the site is served
The site is static pages served by Cloudflare over encrypted connections. It has no user accounts, no logins and no database, which removes the most common ways sites are attacked. It sets no cookies and runs no tracking.
What happens to what you submit
The forms and the instant quote tool send your information over an encrypted connection to a backend running on Google infrastructure, which files it in Dropbox and notifies us by email. Nothing you submit is stored on the website itself.
Payments
No payment is taken on this site: there is no card form and no payment page. Fees are invoiced after your quote is checked and confirmed, and paid by bank transfer to the account on the invoice. Card details never touch our systems.
Who has access
Two people run ClearCDM, Robbie Thompson and James Nicholson, and they are the only people with access to submitted information. Accounts are protected by two step verification and there are no shared logins.
What this site never does
It never asks you to create an account or set a password; it never asks for card details on its own pages; it never sells or shares your information for marketing; and nobody from ClearCDM will ever email you asking for your password or full card number.
Reporting a concern
If you think you have found a security problem with this site or the service, email mail@clearcdm.co.uk with the details. You will have a reply within two working days, and we are grateful for reports made responsibly.
